Family in Crisis («Семья в кризисной ситуации») – это видео, в котором показано лечение одной семьи на протяжении восьми месяцев. Основное внимание здесь уделяется моей первой сессии с семьей, во время которой у идентифицированного пациента случился эпилептический припадок – очевидно, он вызван изменениями в семейной системе, которые я внедряю. На этой видеозаписи можно наблюдать процесс котерапии: в этом случае мы работали вместе с доктором Дьюиттом (Бадом) Болдуином.
Мои видео Communication I и Communication II («Коммуникация 1» и «Коммуникация 2»)[28] были созданы на основе семинаров, которые я проводила в Университете Манитобы. В них отражаются многие идеи, знакомые читателям моих книг. Например, сосуд эмоций, осознание и приятие человеком своих чувств и его отношение к коммуникации, конгруэнтность, двойные послания, «висячие шляпы», периферийное пространство, «генерация значений» и т. д. Кроме того, в этих видеозаписях вы найдете ряд полезных практических занятий. Здесь я разделяю аудиторию из студентов колледжа на небольшие группы, чтобы они смогли лично ознакомиться с некоторыми идеями, а методы, которые я использую, можно адаптировать для разных типов обучения. Она составлена на основе записи одного из моих терапевтических сеансов и, как следует из названия, наглядно демонстрирует, как именно я работаю. Я считаю, что книги вдохновляют и открывают новые возможности, дают толчок к развитию и являются полезным ресурсом для получения новой информации.
